Hayseed Critic Signed Print

Originally created as a cover illustration for the Saturday Evening Post cover, Jul 21, 1928, The Hayseed Critic was re-printed by Eleanor Ettinger Galleries in December 1976.

This 10 color lithograph was printed on archival arches rag paper, and is part of a total circulation of 35 Artist Proofing's owned be Norman Rockwell. The edition consists of 320 impressions on papier d'Arches. 200 were numbered and 60 artists proofs were signed in pencil by Norman Rockwell. An additional 35 prints signed and designated with roman numerals were reserved for Rockwell. 25 deluxe edition signed proofs were also printed on Inomachi Nacre (Japon) paper. Measuring 24.24" x 27" inches,this Artist Proof lithograph is personally signed by the artist in graphite pen on the lower right hand side.
