Norman Rockwell Painted the "Four Freedoms" series during the middle of World War II as part of a famous war bond initiative wich the United States government used to successfully bolster the sense of famliy and country during a dark period in the history of this country and the world. These four iconic paintings remain part of the permanent collection of the Norman Rockwell Museum.
